This short film shows real starry starry nights of American West. You can sit on the planetarium and travel to famous places such as the Grand Canyon, Arches, Monument Valley and etc.

This film was produced with 8K ultra high resolution using several cameras. Your theater is not 8K? It still looks great at 6K and 4K.

Behind the scenes

I matched color and exposure of each scenes scarefully and stitched.
Also, I smoothed the exposure, processed HDR, High Dynamic Range, and deleted all the people.

As you see, it is not easy work.
There is no starry starry night, but starry satellite night.
Moreover American sky is full of airplanes.
Nowadays, astrophotography is very popular, so at every famous place, there are many people with camera and lantern even in midnight.
So I have to delete these satellites, airplanes, and people one by one.

There was a strange sound at night. It was a rattlesnake under the tripod!
Anyway i could finish this whole night time-lapse without subtraction.
