The Most Scientific Simulation

Even a star in the background was carefully drawn to simulate the actual outer space as it is.
So, if you know the night sky well, you would be able to spot star constellations.

The stars in the background against the earth are just like what you would see in outer space.
Stars that appear beyond Curiosity on Mars were simulated to represent the actual night sky from Mars.
The scene with many galaxies was created based on modern scientific observation.

Mars’ magnetic field disappeared as its inner core started to cool off.
Without the shield against solar wind, its atmosphere would have been lost to space.
Mars has become uninhabitable ever since.

Auroras are not unique to Earth.
They occur in the polar regions of Saturn, the planet with gigantic rings.

Even the gas giant planet Jupiter has auroras.

In the far future, if humans ever discover an exoplanet with life in the distant galaxies,
there will be auroras in that planet.
